Displaying images

The TaurusImageDialog widget is a Taurus widget for displaying image attributes from the control system. A contour plot is created from the values of the image attribute.

Depending on the available tools, the image interface can provide features such as:

  • zooming and panning;

  • X/Y cross sections;

  • annotation tools for labels and shapes;

  • adding and deleting images.

Note

TaurusImageDialog is provided by the taurus.qt.qtgui.extra_plotpy module, which depends on plotpy. If plotpy is not installed, the image widget is not available.
